These terms apply to all bookings made with C Line Cars Crowborough Taxi Service ("we", "us"), whether made by phone, email, or through this website. By booking with us, you agree to these terms.
All fares are agreed as a fixed price at the time of booking, based on the shortest sensible route between the pickup and drop-off points, plus a standard £5 pickup and drop-off charge unless stated otherwise. The agreed price will not change due to traffic conditions or the route taken, provided the journey matches what was booked.
If your requirements change after booking (pickup time, destination, passenger numbers, or luggage), please contact us as soon as possible on 01892308080 so we can confirm whether the change can be accommodated and whether it affects the agreed price.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the booked pickup time incur no charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booked pickup time, or non-arrival at the agreed pickup point, may incur a charge of up to the full agreed fare.
For airport and port transfers, we track your flight or sailing where possible and adjust your pickup time accordingly, at no extra charge, provided we have been given accurate flight/sailing details in advance.
Please provide accurate passenger numbers and luggage requirements when booking, so we can arrange the correct vehicle. We reserve the right to decline to carry luggage or passenger numbers that exceed the safe capacity of the booked vehicle.
Payment can be made by cash or card at the end of the journey, or arranged in advance by phone for certain bookings. A deposit may be requested to secure wedding or long-distance bookings, and will be confirmed and agreed with you at the time of booking.
All vehicles are licensed by Wealden District Council, council-inspected twice a year, and covered by public liability insurance. All drivers are DBS-checked and hold a valid private hire driver's licence.
We are not liable for delays or failure to complete a journey where this results from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including traffic, adverse weather, vehicle breakdown, or road closures. Our liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the value of the fare paid for that journey, except where liability cannot be excluded or limited under UK law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
